What to expect when you visit us

We created Financial Health Centers because people need more than transactions; they need judgment-free, face-to-face conversations that focus on their real lives, not just their accounts. Our Financial Health Centers offer all the products and services of a traditional branch, plus they help you when you need to improve your financial health. Visit one of our locations to feel the Credit Human difference.
More than branches

Built on values

We have Financial Health Centers throughout our service areas. We put our commitment to improving the financial health of our members and reducing our environmental footprint into practice at all our locations.

Our headquarters

Our headquarters at 1703 Broadway isn't just a place for us to work—it's a place that helps us give back in more ways than one. With geothermal, solar and other eco-friendly features, the building was designed to minimize environmental impact. We reinvest our utility savings into member-focused benefits like better rates and lower fees. Additionally, the first floor houses a Financial Health Center and community room, so we can serve our members well and engage with our vibrant community.

Financial Health Centers

In addition to all the products and services you expect, our Financial Health Centers provide resources, tools and guidance to improve your financial outlook. Our locations are a place to explore your goals and get the support you need to reach them.

Financial Health Centers

Everything you expect from a branch, plus a whole lot more

Our Financial Health Centers are designed to give our members the tools and resources they need to improve their financial lives—for themselves, their families and their communities. Everyone’s financial situation is different, so we approach them all individually. Our Financial Health Centers give our members, and ourselves, a place to better understand their needs and goals.

Reach your goals

Your financial health comes first

Our sole focus is your financial wellbeing, and our Financial Health Centers are a 100% judgement-free zone. No matter your situation, we're here to help. Here's how we do it:

Financial Health Conversations

Our Member Relationship Specialists are trained to listen with purpose. We call appointments with them “financial health conversations” because they are exactly that—conversations. We take our time, focusing on you and your unique situation. We don’t just conduct transactions or facilitate account openings. We partner with you to understand your finances and identify ways we can help you meet your goals and connect you to the resources you need. Meet with a specialist for:

  • Free financial checkups
  • Customized spending plans
  • One-on-one help that is personalized to your unique situation
  • Connection to educational materials, local aid services and other non-financial resources you need to thrive
  • Hands-on help with account openings, including business accounts

We make the connections, you get the help you need

We know your financial situation is only one part of your overall wellbeing and it is influenced by your whole life experience. When you need support beyond financial guidance, we can connect you with our community partners and resources. Our Financial Health Center team members have done the leg work to build relationships with local organizations to get you the help you need for things like utility, rental, food, clothing and legal assistance.

Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors (CCUFC)—not just tellers

Our Member Relationship Specialists are certified within a short time of beginning their roles in our Financial Health Centers. At least one fully certified financial counselor is always available at each of our Financial Health Centers to provide a higher-level of guidance not typically available at a traditional branch.

Transactions the human way

What you can do at an ITM, and when to talk to someone

Instead of a traditional teller counter, our Financial Health Centers utilize Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) that take the convenience of an ATM to a whole new level.

Step up to the ITM and start a conversation with the advisor during business hours or use it like an ATM 24/7. The advisor will join you over a secure video chat right there on the screen, where they can

  • Guide you through your transaction, including deposits, transfers and withdrawals
  • Answer any account questions you might have

Need an ATM but not close to a Financial Health Center?

How ITMs work

Our ITM Advisors are on hand if you need them

Visiting a Financial Health Center is a different experience than a typical branch visit. Streamlining day-to-day transactions at the ITMs allows our Membership Relationship Specialists to spend more time with our members, learning about their financial realities and discussing new ways to keep them on sound financial footing.

Less hassle, more human

At Credit Human, we continually engage in sensible innovation by developing products and services that directly benefit our members. As technology further integrates into our daily lives, we recognized an opportunity to provide seamless services for our members throughout San Antonio and New Orleans by upgrading to Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) at our Financial Health Centers and drive-up locations.  We’re also giving members free access to more than 55,000 traditional ATMs through the worldwide Allpoint Network.

No teller line plus expanded hours

Simply walk up to the ITM and tap the screen to speak with your on-screen advisor. In moments, you’ll be greeted with a friendly face to guide you with step-by-step instructions, assistance with your account and much more. Our ITMs are open early and late to provide extra support outside of our lobby hours. ITM advisor hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, and the ITM can be used as a normal ATM 24/7.

Types of transactions you can handle at an ITM

  • Make deposits and withdrawals
  • Cash checks
  • Make loan payments
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Get account help

When to sit down with a Member Relationship Specialist

When you need complex account help, or your situation calls for a little more transformation than transaction, Credit Human’s Member Relationship Specialists are ready to help. They meet with you one-on-one in privacy to discuss your goals, habits and options, both with Credit Human and with partner organizations that are set up to help where we can’t. You don’t pay for their time, they are available for all our members.
